Ray Miller Shakeout & Fireside Chat

Dec 4, 2026 · Late afternoon into evening · Ray Miller Trailhead, Point Mugu State Park, Malibu, CA

Free

’Twas the Night Before Race Day Join us for an easy shakeout jog and fireside hang the afternoon before the Ray Miller 50/50. We’ll meet at 3:15 PM at the Big Sycamore Trailhead, head out for ~2 relaxed miles on trails you’ll see again on race day, then gather around the fire to swap trail stories, calm some pre-race nerves, and talk gear, course markings, logistics, and whatever else is on your mind. First trail race or fiftieth, everyone is welcome. A few of my friends (OOFOS, Sun Bum, Kate's Real Food, Venture Pal, Squirrel's Nut Butter) want to make sure you're prepared for race day so there will be swag bags for the first 30 folks! We’ll also have an incredibly talented outdoor photographer joining us to capture the afternoon. Bring a headlamp, warm layer, and camp chair or blanket. We’ll follow Leave No Trace best practices throughout the event. Full Ray Miller race details: Ray Miller 50/50

Adirondacks Mountain Challenge

Dates to be announced · 3 full days · 2 nights · 2 travel days · Lake Placid and the Adirondack High Peaks

Around $2,500

A group mountain challenge built around movement, confidence, and time outside. Across three full adventure days, we will cover roughly 20 miles and 8,000 feet of vertical gain while summiting multiple Adirondack mountains. You will leave more confident moving through the mountains, proud of what you accomplished, and connected to a few new friends. Throughout the event, we’ll follow Leave No Trace best practices, and I’ll teach you how to apply them along the way.
